    This unit is delving deeper into topics that have been discussed throughout the class thus far; therefore driving home how these aspects of technology really affect the individual and how to use it to each person's advantage in everyday life. Students will be using research based evidence/documentaries to explore just how much of an impact today's technology has on a person--it is not just something that has always been there and how we use it is always changing.
    The hour long documentary about 3 college students who attempt to go several weeks without using a computer should be used with the listed time outtakes to spark discussion with the questions. This video should not be viewed in it's entirety due to language (it is a college student documentary). As always, it is the teacher's responsibility to preview all videos before sharing with students.

    1. They could do a public service announcement, a poster, a Glogster, a document that could be added to the school's website, or something else creative to offer multiple means of expression. They should use their homework from day 1 to help them get started.
